What are the symptoms?
  • Hearing loss that slowly gets worse
  • Most commonly affect adults in their 30-40’s
  • Tinnitus
What’s going on behind the scenes?
This is a type of conductive hearing loss where one of the bones in the middle ear (stapes/stirrup) loses its ability to transmit sound to the inner part of the ear.
